Role Overview:

Clinical Data Abstractor work within our abstraction product to review patient medical records and create a detailed dataset for our patients and partners. We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Clinical Data Abstractor to help us continue building and improving our data assets.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in a medical field and experience in chart review and data extraction. They must be skilled at reviewing medical records and accurately identifying the right medical codes. A good understanding of medical terms and coding standards is important. This role is essential to ensure our medical data is accurate and reliable.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Doctorate, or a related field.
• Experience in medical data abstraction is a plus, but not required.
• Proficiency in clinical terminology and coding systems.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality clinical output.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze medical records and clinical reports to accurately extract and code relevant data, ensuring high-quality and compliant documentation.
• Interpret medical records and clinical documentation to support data labeling and annotation efforts.
• Assign appropriate medical codes to clinical data in medical records.
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy and security regulations to protect patient information and maintain confidentiality.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in clinical coding standards, medical terminology, and HIPAA compliance requirements.

Work Schedule & Setup:

• Must be amenable to work onsite near Ayala Business Park, Cebu City.
• Amenable to work on graveyard shift and holidays.
